 Potatoes8 Ounce, peeled
 Carrots4 Ounce, scraped
 Piece celery
 Onion1 , peeled
 1 1/2 pints stock or water
 Bacon rashers2
 Seasoning
 Grated cheese
 Chopped watercress

Directions

Grate all the vegetables, and cook in the stock or water for 5-10 minutes.
Meanwhile dice and fry the bacon.
