Quick Pea Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| Bacon fat | 25 Gram | |
| Spring onions | 3 Large, chopped | |
| Outside leaves of a lettuce, roughly shredded | ||
| Frozen peas | 450 Gram | |
| 1 litre stock or water | ||
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1.Take a pan, heat the bacon fat and add spring onions and lettuce to it.
2.Cook the ingredients for 2 minutes.
3.Once done, put the peas, stock and seasoning in the pan and allow to boil.
4.Cook for 5 more minutes on low flame.
5.Take a blender container, put the mixture in it a and turn into a puree.
6.Transfer the puree in air tight conatiner and refrigerate.
FINALIZING
7.Defrost overnight in the refrigerator.
8.Heat in non stick pan; add double cream and stir gently.
SERVING
9.Serve in bowls topped with croutons.
