Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, stir together cookie mix, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Beat in cider and chopped apple until a soft dough forms.
2. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over tops.
3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Let stand on cookie sheets 2 minutes to cool, then remove to a rack and let cool completely.
