Ingredients

 Shortening1 Tablespoon
 Onion- ½ cup, finely chopped
 Green pepper- ¼ cup, finely chopped
 Celery- ¼ cup, finely chopped
 Beef mince1 Pound
 Cheddar cheese- ¼ cup, diced
 Tomato sauce1 Can (10oz)
 Sugar1 Tablespoon
 Vinegar1 Tablespoon
 Worcestershire sauce1 1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/8 Teaspoon
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Hamburger buns- 4 to 5 no-€™s, split in half and toasted

Directions

MAKING
1. In a heavy bottomed skillet, heat fat.
2. Add pepper, celery and onions and saute on a medium flame till onions start to brown.
3. Add beef and saute till meat borwns evenly.
4. Add remaining ingredients, mix well and simmer on a low flame for 10 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
5. On a flat griddle, place buns and warm on both sides.

SERVING
6. Place mixture on warm buns and serve immediately.
