Quick Brown Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Dry white wine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Shallots | 2 , minced | |
| 1/2 cup beef gravy | ||
| Whipping cream | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 teaspoon sauce Robert | ||
| Pinch of thyme | ||
| Pinch of tarragon | ||
| Ground pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Dijon Mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Simmer wine and shallots in small saucepan until most of wine has evaporated, about 10 minutes.
Stir in gravy cream, sauce, herbs and salt and pepper and let simmer 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and blend in mustard.
