Quiche Lorraine With Cream And Cheese Recipe
Quiche Lorraine is a French delicacy. Quiche Lorraine gets its taste from ham mixed with cream and cheese, filled in open pastry. Quiche Lorraine is inspired by many food joints around the world.
Ingredients
7 oz. flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons water
5 oz. butter
Bread crumbs
4 eggs
1/2 cup thick sour cream
5 oz. lean bacon or ham, diced
9 oz. Swiss cheese, diced Parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon paprika
Directions
Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
Make a well in center and add water.
Using a pastry blender, cut in butter in small pieces.
Mix well until dough can be formed into a smooth ball.
Cover; chill 1 hour.
Roll out dough on floured canvas into a round 12 inches in diameter.Line a 10 inch flan pan with pastry, turning edge of dough under and flute the edge.
Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon fine bread crumbs.
Beat eggs slightly and beat in sour cream.
