Directions

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
Cut in shortening with a pastry blender or two knives until pieces are the size of small peas.
Stir in eggs and milk, one tablespoon at a time.
Mix together thoroughly to make a soft dough.
Break off small pieces of dough, and roll between palms of hands to form rolls about 1 1/2 inches long.
Flatten slightly and roll in sesame seed.
Place about 3/4 inch apart on lightly greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375°F 12 to 15 minutes, or until cookies are lightly browned.
