Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, beat butter and powdered sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Beat in vanilla.
2. Add flour mixed with baking powder and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon and beat until well blended. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Using bottom of a glass, flatten each ball into a 2-inch circle.
3. Bake 20 to 25 minutes, until cookies are lightly browned. Let stand 2 minutes.
4. In a small bowl, stir together granulated sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Dip each cookie into cinnamon sugar, then transfer to a rack and let cool completely.
