Qingdao Fajitas Recipe
Ingredients

| Soy sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 tablespoons vodka, tequila, or Shao Hsing wine | ||
| Lime juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce | ||
| Sesame oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ginger | 1 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Spice | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 pound beef sirloin or flank steak | ||
| Salsa | ||
| 2 large tomatoes, coarsely chopped | ||
| Onion | 1/2 Small, chopped | |
| 2 Serrano chilis, seeded and minced | ||
| Chinese cilantro | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Rice vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Chili paste | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sour Cream Mixture | ||
| Sour cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Soy sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sesame oil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper white | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Lettuce | 2 Cup (16 tbs), shredded | |
| Flour tortillas | 12 , warmed | |
Directions
Combine marinade ingredients in a sealable plastic bag.
Add beef, seal bag, and turn to evenly coat.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
One hour before cooking, combine salsa ingredients and sour cream mixture ingredients in separate bowls.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Cooking Lift beef from marinade, reserving marinade.
Place beef on a rack in a foil-lined broiling pan.
Broil 2 inches below heat, turning once, for 2 minutes on each side for medium rare.
Baste occasionally with reserved marinade while broiling.
Thinly slice beef.
To serve, place a small portion of beef strips, lettuce, salsa, and sour cream mixture on a warm tortilla, wrap up, and eat out of hand.
To barbecue: Remove beef from marinade, reserving marinade, and drain briefly.
Place on lightly greased grill about 4 inches above a solid bed of glowing coals.
