Pyaz Kl Roti Recipe
Pyaz ki roti is an indian preparation of flat bread with wheat flour and bran batter. Cooked with finely chopped onions and green chiles, the pyaz ki rotis and lightly flavorful and savory and can be served with any indian prepation of vegetables.This is a special low sugar recipe great for diabetics as well as for people on low carb diet. Ingredients
1 cup gehun ka atta (whole wheat flour)
2 tablespoons wheat bran
3 teaspoons anardana, roasted and powdered
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1 teaspoon finely chopped green chillies
1 teaspoon oil
Salt to taste
Other ingredients
1 teaspoon oil for cooking
Directions
Mix together all the ingredients and knead into a soft dough adding enough water.
Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll out into a circle of 125 mm (5") diameter.
Cook on a non stick pan till both sides are light brown, using a little oil.
Repeat to make 3 more rotis.
Serve hot with any subzi of your choice.
