Ingredients

 
Whole wheat flour - 2 cups (gehun ka atta)
 
Onions - 3/4 cup, finely chopped
 
Green chillies - 2 chopped
 
Mint leaves - 3 tbsp, finely chopped
 
Salt - 1 tsp
 
Ghee - 1 tbsp
 
Warm water - for kneading
 
Butter - to serve

Directions

MAKING
1 In a bowl, sift the flour and salt together in a bowl.
2 Add in all the chopped ingredients and the ghee.
3 Gradually add in water and mix well.
4 Knead to a stiff dough.
5 Cover and keep aside for 20 minutes.
6 Divide the dough into 6 equal portions.
7 Shape into even sized round balls.
8 Roll out into 125 mm.(5") diameter rounds.
9 Heat a tava.
10 Put the roti on the tava and cook on both sides.
11 Holding with tongs, roast directly on the flame on both sides.

SERVING
12 Serve hot with butter.
