Ingredients
| Refined flour | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Chiroti rawa | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Wheat flour | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Potato | 2 , cut into small pieces | |
| Peas | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Carrot | 2 , cut into small pieces | |
| Broccoli/2 florets | 1 , cut into small pieces | |
| Beans | 15 , cut into 2" pieces | |
| Tomato | 2 , cut in small pieces | |
| Onion | 1 , chopped | |
| Coconut | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Green chillies | 6 (roasted in 1 teaspoon oil) | |
| Ginger garlic paste | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Cloves | 4 | |
| Cinnamon piece | 2 | |
| Saunf | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Poppy seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Coriander powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Haldi | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Coriander leaves | 1 Tablespoon |
Directions
PURI METHOD:-
Make a tight dough using above ingredients with water keep under water wet cloth for 30 mins.
Divide into small ball,roll it and deep fry in oil and serve hot with saagu
SAAGU METHOD:-
Grind above ingerdients with water to a smooth paste
Seasoning:-
Oil-2 tbsp
Mustard seeds-1tsp
Red chillies-1 broken into pieces
Curry leaves-few
Heat oil in a cooker add seasoning ingredients fry well.
Add tomatoes saute,add grounded paste fry for a while.
Add chopped vegetables,salt and mix well.
Add 1 or 2 cups of water ,let it come boil,close cooker,pressure cook for one whistle.
If saagu is too thick add more water,cook for a while.Lastly add 2 tbsp fresh cream or 1/4cup cooled milk.
