Cinnamon Honey Baklava Recipe

Ingredients
| Walnuts | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped | |
| Almonds | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ground nutmeg | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 10 sheets filo pastry | ||
| Butter | 250 Gram, melted | |
| CINNAMON HONEY SYRUP | ||
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Honey | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Small cinnamon stick | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Mix together nuts, sugar and spices.
Brush half of a sheet of filo with melted butter, fold other hand over and brush with butter so that you have a piece of filo 18mx3piaR.
Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of mixture.
Beginning at one end, filo as you would a jam roll.
Cut into three.
Place on greased baking sheet with smooth side of pastry up and brush with melted butter.
Repeat rolling.
Bake in preheated moderate oven 180C (350F) for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
While hot, dip into warm Cinnamon Honey Syrup and drain.
SYRUP: Mix all ingredients together and and simmer for 30 minutes.
Cook only until light brown.
