Pungent Peking Chicken Bites with Dipping Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 lb chicken breasts, skinless, boneless | ||
| Eggs | 2 , beaten | |
| All purpose flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4 cup beer or water | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Vegetable oil | 2 Cup (16 tbs) (For frying) | |
Directions
1. Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch (2.5-cm) cubes.
2. In a small bowl, combine eggs, flour, beer or water and salt; blend well.
3. In a deep skillet or deep-fryer, heat oil to 375°F (190°C). Dip chicken in batter and slip into hot oil. Deep-fry, turning once, about 5 to 6 minutes until coating is golden brown.
4. Drain on paper towel and keep warm. Serve with Dipping Sauce.
