Baked Pumpkin Pie Recipe Video

Pumpkin Pie made from scratch simply the best I have ever eaten, but then I'm biased it was my grandmothers recipe

Ingredients

 
1 + 3/4 cups Cooked mashed Pumpkin
 
1 cup Brown Sugar
 
4 Eggs
 
1 can Evaporated Milk
 
1/2 cup Milk
 
2 tsp Cinnamon
 
2 tsp Ground Ginger
 
1 + 1/2 tsp Ground Nutmeg
 
3/4 tsp Ground Cloves
 
3/4 tsp Salt

Directions

1. Puree Pumpkin, using a stick blender or put into a food processor.

2. Add Evaporated milk, Milk, Sugar and Spices. Puree well, making sure there are no lumps.

3. Scrape down sides. Puree again.

4. Add Eggs. Puree.

5. Pour into Cooked Pastry Shell. Bake at 150C.

6. To test doneness, gently shake side of shell, will wiggle a little but is set - 30 mins.

7. Cool slightly. Serve with icecream.
