Pumpkin Chips Recipe
Ingredients
| Fresh pumpkin, seeded, pared, and cut into 2 x4 inch sections | ||
| Vegetable oil | 2 Cup (16 tbs) (For frying) | |
| Garlic salt | 1 To taste | |
Directions
Slice the pumpkin sections with the slicing disk.
Soak slices in water for 1 hour.
Remove and pat dry.
Fry in oil at 360°F, a few slices at a time, for about 2 minutes or until lightly browned.
Drain on paper towels.
Sprinkle with salt or garlic salt or a mixture of salt, ginger, and nutmeg.
A mixture of garlic salt and curry powder is also good.
