2 tbsp butter
 
2 tbsp flour
 
1 celery stalk, diced
 
1 potato, peeled, diced
 
1 onion, chopped
 
1 cup pumpkin pulp, diced
 
1 cup chicken broth
 
1 tbsp lemon juice
 
3 drops of Tabasco sauce
 
1/4 tsp paprika pinch of nutmeg
 
1/4 tsp ground clove
 
1 cup milk
 
Salt and pepper
 
1/4 cup heavy cream

Directions

In a saucepan, melt butter.
Sprinkle with flour.
Make a roux.
Add vegetables and pumpkin, mixing well.
Fold in remaining ingredients, except cream.
Over low heat, simmer until potato is cooked.
In a blender, puree mixture.
Fold in cream, mixing well.
