Pumpkin Pie Recipe
I have a recipe which is very near and dear to my heart and that is of Pumpkin Pie. Pumpkin Pie makes a yummy Dessert. Once you try preparing this Pumpkin Pie, I am sure you will be making it again!.
Ingredients
Pastry for a 1 crust pie
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups cooked pumpkin
3/4 cup milk ;
2 eggs, well beaten
2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup brandy
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Directions
Prepare pastry, line a 9 inch pie pan, and refrigerate while you make the filling.
Combine pumpkin, sugar, spices, and salt in a mixing bowl.
Then beat in milk, eggs, cream, and brandy with a rotary beater or an electric inixer.
Pour into unbaked pastry shell and bake in a preheated 325° oven for 1 hour or until a knife inserted in center comes out dry.
Cool.
