Pumpkin Bread Recipe
Pumpkin Bread has become one of my favorite recipes. I have taken this Pumpkin Bread to several potlucks and received numerous complients for it too. You will definitely like it!
Ingredients
3 cups sugar
1 cup salad oil
4 eggs, beaten
1 16-ounce can Del
Monte Pumpkin
3 1/2 cups sifted flour
2 tsps. baking soda
2 tsps. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2/3 cup water
Directions
Cream sugar and oil.
Add eggs and pumpkin; mix well.
Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon and cloves.
Add to pumpkin mixture alternately with water.
Mix well after each addition.
Pour into 2 well-greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350°F for 1 1/2 hours, until loaves test done.
Let stand for 10 minutes.
Remove from pans to cool.
