| Vegetable oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 Large | |
| Whole wheat flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cloves | 1/4 Tablespoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1/4 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 t. baking soda dissolved in 1 t. milk | ||
| Raisins | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 c. chopped nuts or raw sunflower seeds | ||
| Vanilla | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Thoroughly combine pumpkin, sugar, oil, and egg.
Stir together flour, baking powder, spices, and salt.
Add to pumpkin mixture along with dissolved soda and mix well.
Stir in raisins, nuts, and vanilla.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on lightly greased cookie sheets.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until done.
Cool on wire rack.
