Ingredients

 
1 onion, finely chopped
 
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped or minced
 
2 tsp chilli powder
 
½ crushed black pepper
 
½ tomato ketchup
 
2 tbsp chilli sauce
 
2 tbsp cooking oil (you could use the oil of your choice)
 
3-4 tbsp of sugar (preferably brown sugar)
 
2-3 tbsp apple cidar vinegar
 
1 tbsp worchestershire sauce
 
1 tsp Tabasco sauce
 
1 pork shoulder (boneless)
 
Salt to taste

Directions

Take a skillet and add in the cooking oil. Now add the onions and garlic and sauté till the onions turn colour and become soft. Add in the black pepper, chilli powder, sugar, vinegar andtabasco sauce and also the worchestershire sauce. Stir well till all the ingredients are well-blended. Let boil. Add this sauce to the pork and cook for 5-6 hours on slow heat. The meat must come apart in a shredded form. Serve.
