Pudding Peach Shortcake Recipe
I bet you would have never thought that making a fruit shortcake can come this easy as in Pudding Peach Shortcake. Flavored with rich almond extract, you will find real peaches stuck in the pound cake and wrapped in vanilla flavored jello! I tell you, give it a try coz your taste buds are really craving for something like this!
Ingredients
1 cup cold milk
1 cup (1/2 pint) sour cream
1/8 teaspoon almond extract
1 package (4-serving size) JELL-O® Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
8 thin slices pound cake
l 1/2 cups sliced peeled peaches
Directions
Combine cold milk, sour cream and almond extract in bowl.
Add pudding mix.
With electric mixer at low speed, beat until well blended, 1 to 2 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Place a slice of pound cake in each of 4 dessert dishes.
Spoon 1/4 cup of the pudding onto each slice.
Top with half of the peaches.
Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
Garnish with whipped topping, if desired.
