1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2/3 cup sour milk
1 1/2 cups bread flour
2/3 cup chopped stewed prunes, drained
1/2 teaspoon each of soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and baking powder

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs, then prunes, and last the dry ingredients and milk.
