 Biscuit mix2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Firmly packed brown sugar1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Ground cinnamon1/4 Teaspoon
 Butter6 Tablespoon
 1/2 cup finely cut prunes
 1/2 cup finely shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
 Cream1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Walnuts1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped

Directions

Mix biscuit mix, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
Cut in butter with a pastry blender or two knives until particles are the size of rice kernels.
Mix in prunes and cheese.
Pour in the cream; stir with a fork until dough follows fork.
Gently form dough into a ball and place on a lightly floured surface.
Roll into a 12x6-inch rectangle.
Cut into twelve 6x1-inch strips.
With hands, roll each strip to make it about 8 inches long.
Brush with milk; roll in the chopped walnuts.
On greased baking sheet, shape each strip into a "figure 8," overlapping ends at center.
Press a candied cherry onto center of each; sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 400°F about 10 minutes.
