 Dried prunes1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Orange peel2 Teaspoon, shredded
 Orange juice1 Cup (16 tbs)
 2 cups instant-type flour
 Sugar3/4 Cup (16 tbs)

 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Ground cinnamon1/2 Teaspoon
 Eggs2
 Salad oil2 Tablespoon
 California walnuts1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped

Directions

Snip prunes into greased 9x5x3-inch pan; add orange peel and juice; let stand 1/2 hour.
Add remaining ingredients; beat well with fork till blended, about 2 minutes.
Scrape pan after beating 1 minute.
Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes.
Remove from pan; cool.
Wrap in foil; store overnight for best slicing.
