Prune Filling For Strudel Recipe
Ingredients
| Prunes | 1 Cup (16 tbs), pitted | |
| 1/2 cup unsweetened apple juice | ||
| Lemon peel | 2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In a small saucepan, cover the prunes with the juice.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Pour off any unab-sorbed liquid.
Puree in a blender or food processor.
Mix in the lemon peel.
Roll and bake in phyllo sheets as directed previously.
