Prune Recipe
Ingredients
| Well stewed prunes - 1/2 lb , drained of the syrup | ||
| Ground almonds | 1/4 Pound | |
| Vanilla essence | 1 Teaspoon (Leveled) | |
| Port wine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Whipped cream - 2 or 3 tbs | ||
Directions
MAKING
1 Carefully remove the flesh from the stones of the prunes.
2 Finely chop them
3 In a bowl, combine ground almonds and flavouring.
4 Stir in sufficient cream to moisten to a spreading consistency.
SERVING
5 Use as required.
