 Well stewed prunes - 1/2 lb , drained of the syrup
 Ground almonds1/4 Pound
 Vanilla essence1 Teaspoon (Leveled)
 Port wine1 Tablespoon
 Whipped cream - 2 or 3 tbs

Directions

MAKING
1 Carefully remove the flesh from the stones of the prunes.
2 Finely chop them
3 In a bowl, combine ground almonds and flavouring.
4 Stir in sufficient cream to moisten to a spreading consistency.

SERVING
5 Use as required.
