Prosciutto Stuffed Figs Recipe
Ingredients
| Ripe green or black figs like Kadota, Adriatic, Mission - 12 soft | ||
| Thin slices of prosciutto - 24, 1/4lb (125g) total weight | ||
| Ground pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Rocket lettuce | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
MAKING
1.Use a sharp knife to slit the fig lenghtwise. Cut only 3/4 into the fruit.
2.Crumble the two slices of the cheese and fill the fig slits with them.
3.Stuff all the figs similarly.
4.Season with pepper.
SERVING
5. Take 6 serving plates.
6. Divide and arrange all the greens on them.
7.Place 2 figs on each of the plates.
8.Serve immediately.
