Pronto Shortcakes Recipe

Ingredients
1 package (8) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
1 cup dairy sour cream
2 tablespoons sugar
1 cup whipping cream
2 16-ounce cans peach slices or fruit cocktail
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°.
Bake cinnamon rolls according to package directions.
(Reserve icing for another use.) Meanwhile, blend together sour cream and sugar.
Whip cream; fold into sour cream mixture.
While still warm, split rolls in half crosswise with fork.
Drain fruit, reserving 2 tablespoons syrup; drizzle reserved syrup over roll halves.
Spoon cream mixture and fruit between layers and over top.
