Ingredients

 
Unflavored gelatin - 1 package
 
Sugar - 1/2 cup
 
Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
 
Eggs – 2, slightly beaten
 
Milk - 2 cups
 
Dash of salt
 
Whipping cream - 1/2 pint, whipped
 
Vanilla - 1 teaspoon
 
Almonds - 1/4 cup, slivered

Directions

MAKING
1) Take 2 tablespoons water and soften gelatin in it. Let stand.
2) Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
3) Add mixture to the eggs.
4) Stir in milk and mix thoroughly.
5) Simmer until thick, stirring constantly.
6) Add salt and gelatin mixture. Mix well.
7) Allow the mixture to cool completely.
8) Fold in whipped cream. Add flavoring and almonds.
9) Pour mixture into individual molds. Chill until set.

SERVING
10) Top with crushed fresh raspberries and serve immediately.
