Prime Rib Roast Of Beef Recipe
Ingredients
| 3-rib beef roast, with ribs left in 2 cloves garlic, split lengthwise | ||
| Salt, pepper | ||
| Flour | ||
Directions
Cut gashes in fat part of roast and insert garlic cloves.
Season with salt and pepper rubbed into meat.
Sear quickly in hot pan on top of stove to seal in juices.
Make a small incision through the skin of the meat and insert thermometer so that the bulb reaches the center of the roast.
Put into uncovered roasting pan and roast in 300 to 325-degree oven until thermometer reaches 140 degrees.
