Presto Lasagna Recipe
This is a kick ass recipe for Presto Lasagna which will knockout anyone who eats it. Excuse my French please. Why don't you try this great Presto Lasagna recipe and see for yourself?
Ingredients
1 package (8 ounces) regular noodles
1 tablespoon vegetable oil or olive oil
1 package (8 ounces) heat and serve sausage patties
1 can (about 1 pound) Italian tomatoes
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 tablespoon instant minced onion
1 teaspoon mixed Italian herbs
1 carton (8 ounces) pot cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 package (6 or 8 ounces) sliced mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2 inch strips
Directions
Cook noodles, following label directions; drain; return to same kettle; toss with salad oil or olive oil to keep from sticking.
While noodles cook, dice sausage patties; brown with no fat, stirring often, in medium size frying pan; stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, onion and herbs; heat to boiling; simmer, stirring often, 5 minutes.
Layer half the noodles, pot cheese, Parmesan cheese, tomato mixture and mozzarella cheese in 6 cup shallow baking dish; repeat, criss crossing mozzarella strips on top.
Bake in moderate oven (350°) 30 minutes, or until bubbling at edges and cheese is lightly browned; remove from oven; let stand 5 to 10 minutes to set.
Note For a party, double the recipe and bake in 12 cup shallow baking dish at 350° until bubbly hot.
