1.Put the chick peas in the pressure cooker along with water and garlic and bay leaf.
2.Close the lid and boil on medium high heat.
3.Cook for about 45 minutes and as the pressure regulator starts rocking remove pressure cooker from the stove.
4.Put it under cold water.
5.Take out the pressure regulator only after the pressure is dissipated.
6.Remove the lid and take out the chick peas from the cooker.
7. Use as desired in various recipes.
