Prawns With Asparagus Recipe
Ingredients
| 175g fresh asparagus, cut into | ||
| 2.5 cm pieces | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Dry sherry | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Light soy sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Prawns | 450 Gram, peeled | |
| Sunflower oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), thinly sliced | |
| Ginger | 2 Teaspoon, chopped | |
| Onions spring | 4 , chopped | |
Directions
Blanch the asparagus in boiling salted water for 2 minutes.
Drain well and set aside.
Mix the wine or sherry with the soy sauce.
Stir in the prawns and leave to marrinate for 15 minutes.
Heat the oil in a wok or deep frying pan and quickly stir-fry the garlic, ginger and half the spring onions.
Add the prawns and mirinade, and the asparagus, and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, until the ingredients are hot.
