Prawns Sauteed In Garlic And Wine Recipe
|Prawns||1 Pound, peeled and deveined (16-20 per pound)|
|Olive oil||4 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), peeled and sliced|
|Shallots||1 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Dry white wine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped parsley||2 Tablespoon (For Garnish)|

Heat a 12-inch saute pan over medium heat and add the oil.
Add the prawns to the pan.
Brown lightly on one side, turn and add garlic, shallots, and a pinch of salt.
Brown prawns on their second side.
Deglaze the pan with white wine and lemon juice.
Reduce the liquid, swirling the pan to form a sauce.
Toss the prawns to ensure that they cook through.
The color of the meat will change from translucent to opaque when done.
Finish the sauce with the butter, swirling it into the sauce quickly.
Remove from the heat at once to prevent the sauce from breaking.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Serve with Real Garlic Toast, Green Onion Pasta, and salad with Pesto Vinaigrette.
