| 1 1/2 kg prawns, with shells | ||

| Cornflour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |

| 4 eggs, lightly beaten | ||

| Cornflour | 3 Teaspoon | |
| Orange juice | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cointreau | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Oil | 2 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 Large, finely chopped | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Mix cornflour for sauce with orange juice, liqueur and salt.
2. Shell and clean prawns, keeping the tails intact.
3. Drain carefully, dry them and sprinkle with salt.
MAKING
4. In a frying pan, heat about 2 1/2 tbsp oil over moderate heat.
5. Include onion and fry till translucent.
6. Pour in cornflour mixture and bring to boil, stir continuosly until thick and transparent.
7. Remove the pan from heat and set aside.
8. Mix all ingredients for batter and beat them till they are well blended.
9. Set aside to rest for 30 minutes.
FINALIZING
10. Add prawns to batter.
11. In a wok, heat oil for deep frying over moderate heat.
12. Fry prawns in batches till they turn crisp and golden.
13. Remove with slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper.
14. Fry the remaining prawns.
SERVING

15. Spoon sauce over prawns and serve hot.
