Prawns In Envelopes Recipe

 Monosodium glutamate1 Teaspoon
 Peanut oil4 Tablespoon
 Ginger root slice8
 Onion slice8 (Green Colored)
 Chinese pea pods8
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste


Shell and clean prawns.
Cut each prawn in half.
Add salt, pepper, sherry and mono-sodium glutamate; mix well.
Rub each square of waxed paper with oil.
Place one slice prawn, one slice gingerroot, 1 slice onion and 1 Chinese pea pod on each piece of paper.
Make a triangle with the paper by folding the bottom corner nearest you over the ingredients to about 1-inch from the opposite top corner.
Fold the right corner over toward the left and crease the edge.
Then fold the left corner toward the right side, and crease the edge.
Take the bottom of the packet, fold toward the top point or flap.
Tuck flap in-between the two folded sides to secure.
Deep fry flap side down until light brown in color.
Remove waxed paper before eating.
