Prawns and Ginger Recipe
Ingredients
| Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 675 g/1 1/2 lbs peeled prawns | ||
| 2.5 cm/1-inch piece fresh root ginger, peeled and finely chopped | ||
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), peeled, finely chopped | |
| Onions spring | 3 , chopped | |
| 1 leek, white part only, cut into strips | ||
| 120 g/4 oz peas, shelled | ||
| 175 g/6 oz bean sprouts | ||
| Dark soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Pinch | |
Directions
1. Heat the oil in a wok and stir-fry the prawns for 2-3 minutes. Set the prawns aside.
2. Reheat the oil and add the ginger and garlic. Stir quickly, then add the onions, leek and peas. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
3. Add the bean sprouts and prawns to the cooked vegetables. Stir in the soy sauce, sugar and salt, and cook for 2 minutes Serve immediately.
