Prawn Malai Curry Recipe
Prawn Malai Curry it is yumlogical. The coconut milk and green chilli gives the Prawn Malai Curry a two dimensional taste. Must catch it.
Ingredients
250 gms shelled, deveined and washed prawns
Salt
1 tbsp mustard oil
1 tbsp desi ghee (clarified butter)
GROUND TO A PASTE
1 grated onion
1/2 piece ginger
6 cloves garlic
2 green chillies
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 cup water
1 cup thick coconut milk
Directions
Apply salt to the prawns.
Keep for 15 minutes and then wash.
Mix with mustard oil and microwave for 3 minutes.
Stir and keep aside.
Microwave ghee for 30 seconds and mix in the masala.
Cover and microwave for 2 minutes.
Stir in the water and salt and microwave for 5 minutes.
Add coconut milk and microwave at 50% power for 10 minutes.
Mix in the prawns and microwave for 5 minutes.
