Healthy Prawn Pulao Recipe
Ingredients
| Prawns | 1 Kilogram (For 4) | |
| Peas | 450 Gram (For 4) | |
| Pulao rice 400 gm. | ||
| Onions | 115 Gram (For 4) | |
| Red chillies | 2 (For 4) | |
| Cloves | 2 Gram (For 4) | |
| Cinnamon | 2 Gram (For 4) | |
| Cardamom | 2 Gram (For 4) | |
| Fat | 50 Gram (For 4) | |
| Coconut | 1/2 (For 4) | |
| Turmeric a pinch | ||
| Salt | To Taste (For 4) | |
Directions
1. Shell prawns. Remove intestines. Wash thoroughly, smear with turmeric and salt; keep aside.
2. Shell peas.
3. Grind together chillies, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom.
4. Scrape coconut and extract milk.
5. Wash and soak rice.
6. Heat fat. Fry sliced onions; when brown, add prepared prawns and peas. Cook with lid on for about 10 minutes.
7. Add rice and fry.
8. Add coconut milk, ground spices, salt and enough hot water (twice the amount of liquid to rice).
9. Cook till rice is done and all the water has been absorbed.
