Prawn Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 2 Ounce | |
| Celery - 3 stalks | ||
| Onion | 1 | |
| Green pepper | 1/2 To taste | |
| Chicken stock | 1/2 Pint | |
| Tomatoes | 8 Ounce | |
| Bay leaf | 1 | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Paprika – to taste | ||
| Prawns | 8 Ounce | |
| Frozen peas - 1 small pkt | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Heat a pan, melt the butter. Put in the onion, pepper and celery. Sauté until onion is translucent.
2) Pour in stock, and then add tomatoes, bay leaf and seasoning.
3) Close the lid and let it come to a boil. Let it simmer for 20 minutes.
4) Put in the prawns and peas. Mix well.
5) Simmer for 10 minutes more.
SERVING
6) Serve hot.
