Easy Prawn Biryani Recipe Video
This recipe is for all the biryani lovers. We are making it with some prawns today. Hope you will like it.
Ingredients
1/4 tsp haldi/ turmeric
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1 medium sized onion chopped
1/2 cup spring onion chopped
2 medium tomatoes chopped
Curry leaves
1 large green chilli
1 pod of garlic
1/2 tsp zeera
Few methi seeds/ fenugreek
250 gm prawns
2 cups of rice- soaked
Salt
Oil
Sprinkle of food colouring with 2 tbsp milk
Directions
Boil water and add assorted garam masala and add rice in it.
In another pan, heat oil and meethi seeds, curry leaves, cumin and let it crackle.
Add onion and let it cook. Add spices.
Add tomatoes and mix well. Add some salt to the mixture.
Cover it for 5 minutes. Add the prawns, spring onions, garlic and stir well to mix.
When rice is done add salt and them drain water.
Arrange rice in a dish, sprinkle coloring, chilis, lemon juice and the prawns mixture.
Stir it. Cover it with a plastic warp and microwave it for 3 minutes.
Mix it and microwave it for 2 minutes.
Serve the biryani with raita and kauchumber.
