Pranhora Recipe
Ingredients
| Flour | 250 Gram | |
| Milk | 1 Liter | |
| Suji | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Nutmeg 1 sliver | ||
| Sugar | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Chire 1/4 cup | ||
| Baking powder A pinch | ||
| Large cardamom 4-5 seeds 1 1/2 tsp | ||
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water as required | ||
Directions
To make the kheer, boil the milk, sooji and sugar.
Stir and cook the mixture till it becomes very thick.
Add the nutmeg and cook till the mixture solidifies.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Soak the chirwa in lukewarm water.
Keep aside till it softens a bit.
Now grind it to form a grainy paste.
To this paste, add the flour, kheer, baking powder and ground cardamom seeds to make a dough.
Make roughly oval balls from this dough.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the balls.
Soak these balls in sugar syrup and serve.
