Powerhouse Pancakes Recipe
Ingredients
| Whole wheat flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Bran | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Soy | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Honey | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Safflower oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Buttermilk | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 , beaten |
Directions
MAKING
1)In a bowl, mix wheat flour, baking powder, bran and soy flakes.
2)In another bowl add eggs, oil and honey to combine well.
3)In a medium bowl, combine together both mixtures.
4)Add buttermilk to adjust the consistency of pancake batter.
5)Heat the griddle and spoon pancake batter on it.
6)Cook over medium heat until bubbles begin to appear.Turn over and cook.
7)Make ut 8 to 10 pancakes.
SERVING
8)Serve warm with butter or maple syrup for breakfast.
