 2 lemons, halved and thinly sliced
 2 oranges, halved and thinly sliced
 Water1 Cup (16 tbs) (Lemon Orange Sauce:)
 Granulated Sugar3/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Lemon Orange Sauce:)
 Raisins1/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Lemon Orange Sauce:)
 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut in small pieces 50 mL
 Vanilla1 Teaspoon (Lemon Orange Sauce:)

Directions

Lemon Orange Sauce: In 8 cup (2 L) casserole, combine lemons, oranges, water and sugar; cover and microwave on High for 8 to 10 minutes or until fruit is soft, stirring halfway through cooking time.
Let stand for several hours at room temperature or overnight in refrigerator.
Before serving, stir in raisins and butter; cover and microwave on High for 6 to 8 minutes or until hot.
Let stand for a few minutes before stirring in vanilla Serve over slices of pound cake.
