Ingredients

 
1.75 cups sifted cake flour
 
1 cup superfine sugar
 
1/2 tsp salt
 
2 tsp baking powder
 
12 tbs melted unsalted butter
 
4 eggs
 
1/2 cup whole milk
 
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Sift together dry ingredients
cool melted butter and bring eggs to room temp
beat eggs, butter, milk and extract together
add sifted dry ingredients and whisk to blend
pour into a greased and floured 8 X 4 inch loaf pan
and bake at 350 F for 50 - 60 mins

hello, i made ur pound cake and also the pineapple upside down cake and it came out well ie the colour ,texture and taste was liked by my husband and child. But i have the taste of the eggs predominant in the pound cake. i tried adding more of the vanilla and some nuts the second time i made it but still i feel the eggy taste..so can u suggest me some ingredients to add in the pound cake so tht i get rid of tht egg taste.
