Potted Turkey Burgers Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground turkey | 12 Ounce | |
| Chicken broth | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Enriched white bread - 1 slice , made into cmmbs | ||
| Green onion | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Enriched all-purpose flour - 1 teaspoon | ||
| Dijon-style mustard - 1/2 teaspoon | ||
| Worcestershire sauce | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
MAKING
1 In a medium bowl, add turkey, 2 tablespoons broth, bread crumbs, scallion, 2 teaspoons parsley, salt, and pepper;mix well.
2 Form the mixture into 4 patties.
3 In a medium skillet, heat margerine until bubbly.
4 Add the patties and cook for about 5 minutes on each side until done.
5 Transfer to a platter and keep warm.
6 In the skillet, add the flour to the drippings and cook for 2 minutes stirring constantly.
7 Stir in the remining broth and bring to a simmer.
8 Add mustard and Worcestershire sauce and simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce has thickened.
SERVING
9 Pour the sauce over patties and sprinkle with remining parsley before serving.
