|Finely chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|

|Boiling potatoes||4 Medium, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch slices|
|Chicken bouillon/Beef bouillon||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|

Add potatoes and cook, gently stirring, for a few minutes.
Add bouillon and salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover, and simmer until potatoes are tender.
Taste and correct seasoning.
