Directions

GETTING READY
1. Wash the potatoes
2. Cut the potatoes without peeling them into large cubes

MAKING
3. In a large saucepan, tip in cold water
4. Add the potatoes to the water
5. Cover the pan and bring to the boil
6. Simmer till the potatoes are done. Drain and set aside to cool
7. Slice the broccoli stems till they are separated in to florets roughly of the same size as that of the potatoes.
8. When the potatoes start to boil, tip in the broccoli stems and cover the pan again
9. Steam the potatoes and the broccoli till they are tender
10. Season the dish

SERVING
11. Serve hot immediately garnished with sour cream and chives
