potato methi sabji Recipe
Ingredients
potato-1/2kg
fresh fenugreek-chopped-1cup
tomato puree-1/2cup
ginger,garlic paste-2tsp
green chillies-2 finely chopped
redchilli pd-1tsp
cumin pd-1/2tsp
turmeric pd-1/2tsp
garammasala pd-1/2tsp
kichen king powder-1/2tsp
ground cashewnutpaste-1/4tsp
fresh cream-2tbsp
or 2tbsp ghee
salt to taste
sugar-1tsp
fresh coriander leaves-little
oil-3tbspcumin seeds-1/2tsp
onion-2 finely chopped
Directions
Pressure cook potato with skin for 3 whistle.
Cool and peel the skin.
Cut into small cubes and keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds,onions,green chillies,saute for 3 mins.
Add ginger,garlic paste,saute well.
Add tomato puree,all dry masala powders,sugar,potato,salt,1cup water for 5 mins.
Add cashewnut paste,cook in slow flame till oil floats.
Add chopped fenugreek leaves cook for a while add fresh cream.
Serve hot with rotis....
